Canadian auto union reaches deal with Chrysler
The Canadian Auto Workers union agreed to a new contract with Chrysler. This new contract helped avoid strikes with workers and helped end talks with Detorit automakers. The new contract workers also reduces pay for new workers or people coming in but it freezes pay for workers already there. They say that Canada is the most expensive place to make trucks and cars. Under the agreement new workers will only receive 60 percent of top wage. For U.S that is $34.74 however that can always go up. They would start out at $20.84(U.S) they would get top wage in 10 years. However in Detroit they will not always reach "top wage" in 10 years.

They said "it was kind of boring and that they were happy they didn't have to have anymore baby sitters." They said the teachers had come out a little on the up side. They have gained national attention. They say this helped layed off teachers get better job opportunities. Some teachers also backed off knowing that layed off teachers would be given more consideration. They say the mayor doesn't walk away empty handed from this. Grandpa shoots granddaughter
As the man says he lives in an area with alot of cats. He knew his granddaughter and her father were around and about outside. He said he saw a couple cats around earlier that day so he did not think anything of it when his granddaughter and her dad were outside by the metal shed. When he saw something moving by the metal shed he went and got his gun. He did not think before he shot. When he shot. He thought that the aim was on the cat but he missed the cat and his her. He said he feels awful! I would not doubt it!
