She said "North Koreas recent nuclear test is a challenge to the survival and future of the Korean people, and there should be no mistake that the biggest victim will be none other than North Korea itself." " I urge North Korea to abandon its nuclear ambitions without delay and embark on the path to peace and shared development." She wants to move North and South Korea together so they can build trust in each other. She was elected last December. Her father was a founder of the modern Korea who had taken power after it was heavily ruled for 18 years right before he was shot to his death by his intelligence chief in 1979. In here speech oh Thursday she "invoked" a phrase said by her father. He was president during the era where they were encouraging people to pull out of poverty. She said "I would like to re-create the miracle of let's live well so people can worry less about their livelihood and young people can happily go to work.
