Chinese sex workers are saying that the police are physically assaulting and arbitrary detentions and extortion. The HRW or also known as the Human Rights Watch are being brought into HIV testing and are trying to re educate them about it. In China prostitution is illegal and so the government is feeling the need to "crack down". It is said that the people who are in prostitution are becoming more vulnerable. A report is said that there are near 140 interviews that people have made with sex workers, police and specialists. The sex workers are saying that they were beat by the police and that the police did it because they wanted them to confess to prostitution. One of the sex workers told the HRW that the police tied them to trees and threw freezing cold water on them then beat them. Apparently the police just wanted them to sign their name and say they wouldn't do it again and they would be let go after a few days. If you do not sign your name will be locked up in an Education center for around 6 months.

His wife, daughter and friends were there with him as he accepted the oversized $1 million check. He claimed he jumped two feet in the air then ran back inside to tip the clerk $100. He explained that when he bought the scratch off he said I hit a million and he did. His wishes for the money were pay off some bills, use money for his mortgage and give money to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and put some money back in his dry cleaning business. He told reporters that winning the lottery meant everything to him. They also told him that he would have to wait a few weeks to get the check so they could do taxes and everything. After taxes it was $425,000 and he would have gotten the check on July 19. However he never got to spend it. The next day after dinner his family said they heard him screamin and took him to a local hospital where he was then found dead. After many many tests in early September they found cyanide in his blood. In late November the tests showed a lethal level of cyanide and his death was becoming a murder case. The guy owning the 7 Eleven said I would never think that anybody would hurt him. He was a nice person, very hopeful and gentle and very hardworking.
